Terms of Use
These terms are the agreement between you and SocialShark for use of the SocialShark app. By creating an account or buying a plan you accept them.
The service
SocialShark helps you plan, write, and produce social content with AI. You give us an idea, a photo, or a link, and the app returns drafts, images, or video you can edit and publish.
AI output is a starting point, not finished work. You are responsible for checking anything you publish for accuracy, rights, and compliance with the rules of the platform you post to.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. Keep your sign-in secure and do not share it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live.
You are responsible for everything done through your account.
Credits
Generating content spends credits. A paid plan refills credits every billing month, and you can buy extra credit packs at any time.
Plan credits do not roll over when the month resets. Credits are not money, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
If a generation fails through our fault, tell us and we will return the credits.
Plans, billing, and trials
Subscriptions bought inside the app are billed by Apple or Google, not by us. Payment is taken when the free trial ends, or straight away when there is no trial.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings.
Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects your renewal, and you can cancel if you do not want to continue.
Refunds
Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under Apple's and Google's policies. Request a refund through them, as we cannot issue it on their behalf.
If something went wrong on our side, contact support@socialshark.app and we will help.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload and of the content you generate. We do not claim your posts, photos, or brand.
You give us permission to store and process your content only so we can run the service for you: generating output, saving your library, and publishing to accounts you connect.
You confirm you have the rights to what you upload, including photos of people and any brand or product you feature.
Acceptable use
Do not use SocialShark to create anything unlawful, hateful, sexual involving minors, deceptive, or intended to harass a real person.
Do not generate a real person's likeness or voice without their permission, and do not present AI content as real news or a real endorsement.
Do not attempt to break, overload, resell, or reverse engineer the service.
We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Connected social accounts
If you connect an account such as Threads, you authorise us to publish and read metrics on your behalf, within the permissions you approve.
Those platforms have their own terms. You remain bound by them, and they can restrict a post regardless of what our app allows.
You can disconnect an account in Settings at any time.
Availability
We work to keep the app running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. Features may change, and models we depend on may be replaced.
Where the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account cancels future access; it does not refund a period already paid.
We may end this agreement if you seriously break these terms.
